Predator/Prey Constellation
Awarded a studio residency fellowship in 2015, I spent a month at Franconia Sculpture park. Looking up at the Minnesota sky those June nights, I thought of the constellations humans conjured over millennia to organize the stars. This led me to make a group of large steel animal silhouettes and to build a 24 ft tall structure to hang them from, creating my own imaginary predator pet constellation.
